PMI PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL (PMI-PMP®)

The Project management Institute (PMI®) is the world's leading non-profit project management professional association that sponsors and conducts certification programs. PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP®) accreditation is respected and recognized by global conglomerates and MNCs as the international gold standard for project management professionals.
To obtain the PMP® designation, you must satisfy the PMI's education and experience requirements, agree and adhere to a Code of Professional Conduct and pass the PMP Certificate Examination.
There are over 212,704 qualified PMPs worldwide who provide project management services in 120 countries. Many corporations require the PMP® credential for an individual to qualify for employment and advance within the corporation. The accreditation is the world's most recognized credential for individuals associated with project management.
Project Management is by far the fastest growing career in South Africa today. This course is designed to dramatically increase the performance of project teams. It is for those who intend to develop professional project skills and competencies.
We recommend that learners who have not undertaken any formal course in project management should commence with our Fundamentals of Project Management course. The need for a nationally, and internationally, recognised certification in Project Management has grown.
At present there is only one recognised project management certification (note certification not certificate) available in SA that addresses both the academic and practical side of the profession, the Project Management Professional certification (PMP®).

DURATION:
The course runs over a 14 weeks period. Students need 6 months to adequately prepare for the exam. So, ample time is allocated to revision. The programme can be taken on long distance.
