About SISER

South Africa and Africa is on the verge of major social and economic transformation and in this light there is an increasing need for policy-oriented research that will guide governments and policy makers in their decision making processes.

In response to the need for reliable and quality social and economic research findings (i.e. problems, challenges, trends, consequences, impact and significance) Spectrium Graduate School of Business has established SISER. As an independent research institute SISER aims to foster high research standards and ethical values in all faculties within Spectrium. Furthermore, SISER will deploy more resources especially in social and economic topics that are significant to sound economic and investment decisions by the governments, its agencies and the corporates.

SISER’s long term goal is to collaborate with national and international organization which pursues the same.
